Ukrainian Club of Moncton – World Remembrance Day, February 24

Friday, February 24 marks one year of the ongoing invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Club of Moncton will be hosting a fundraising evening of Ukrainian culture, art & music with all event proceeds going directly to Ukraine for urgent medical supplies.

The event will commence with a rally outside City Hall at 6pm; the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor will introduce the evening & make remarks on behalf of the federal government. At 6:15pm, supporters will march to the Moncton Press Club for the main event starting with a moment of silence at 7pm. Live music by Ukrainian children’s choir, adult choir, dancing, Ukrainian food, a silent auction featuring original Ukrainian works of art, crafts & various local business donations, a 50-50 draw and more! The event will include three-time ECMA award winner Travis Furlong performing blues on guitar, as well music by FM Berlin, The Watermen, and more!

There is no cost to attend; donations at the door are greatly appreciated.
