DESCRIPTION:Friday\, February 24 marks one year of the ongoing invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Club of Moncton will be hosting a fundraising evening of Ukrainian culture\, art & music with all event proceeds going directly to Ukraine for urgent medical supplies. \nThe event will commence with a rally outside City Hall at 6pm; the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor will introduce the evening & make remarks on behalf of the federal government. At 6:15pm\, supporters will march to the Moncton Press Club for the main event starting with a moment of silence at 7pm. Live music by Ukrainian children’s choir\, adult choir\, dancing\, Ukrainian food\, a silent auction featuring original Ukrainian works of art\, crafts & various local business donations\, a 50-50 draw and more! The event will include three-time ECMA award winner Travis Furlong performing blues on guitar\, as well music by FM Berlin\, The Watermen\, and more! \nThere is no cost to attend; donations at the door are greatly appreciated. \nEvent Info: World Remembrance Day – Ukrainian Club of Moncton \n
