That Art Thing will be hosting a Paint Night featuring the local landmark, Point Wolfe Bridge as a fundraiser for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 on Tuesday, February 19th at 6:30pm. It will be taking place at the Legion, 100 War Veteran Avenue. Tickets will be available at the Legion bar for $30. The Affirming Committee of Central United Church will be having a movie night on Thursday, February 21st at 7pm at the Community Peace Centre forum, 22 Church St. Invictus will be playing which tells the story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the Captain of South Africa's rugby team to help unite their country. Movie and snacks are free of charge. Come and bring a friend!

There will be a Bottle Drive in support of Boston Terrier Rescue Canada on Saturday, February 23rd from 12 noon until 4pm at Moncton Kia, 55 Lewisville Road. You can drop off your refundable bottles, cans and juice containers for a great cause! Help them fill a trailer!

There will be a Fat Tuesday Pancake Breakfast at the Moncton Lions Club, 55 Mark Ave. on Tuesday, March 5th from 7am until Noon. You get your choice of 2 pancakes; either plain, chocolate chip, blueberry, strawberry, apple/cinnamon or potato pancake with 3 breakfast sausages and coffee/tea or juice. Cost is $7.50 per person for dine-in or take-out. All in support of the Lions Sick Children's Fund with 100% of proceeds going to help.
