An Evening of Music
There will be an Evening of Music in support of the Scottish Rites Foundation Learning Centre for Children with Dyslexia on Saturday, October 26th at 6:30pm at the First Baptist Church, 157 Queen St. The artists for the night will be: Ivan and Vivian Hicks The Sussex Avenue Fiddlers Plucky and the Pizzicatos Riverstrong Admission is FREE with donations being accepted

This celebration of Rita MacNeil’s music features Jennie Del Motte, Heather MacIntyre, Carley Varner and New Brunswick’s Queen of the Blues, Theresa Malenfant performing over twenty of Rita’s songs. The show features well known hits like “Working Man” and “Flying On Your Own” as well as a number of lesser known songs. The evening will be hosted by Charlie Rhindress who will read excerpts from his best selling Rita MacNeil biography, I’m Not What I Seem.

Craft Bazaar
The Catholic Women's League will be having a Craft Bazaar on Saturday,November 2nd from 8am-3:30pm at 340 Dominion St. in St. Augustine's Church basement with FREE admission. Over 20 vendors selling their wares, bake sale and book sale. You can rest in their little Coffee House and enjoy fresh coffee and homemade muffins. At 11:30 they will be serving Fricot, beverage and dessert for $10 per person.
