Riverview's summer neighborhood gatherings are back! Bring the family to mix, mingle and celebrate with friends! Sobey’s has chosen the YMCA of Greater Moncton as the charity they’ll be supporting this year during the annual Sobey’s Golf Tournament. They’re kicking off the sale of the paper golf balls that will be sold for $2 at each cash register with a BBQ at Sobey’s Vaughan Harvey and Sobey’s CF Champlain from 11:30-1 on Friday, July 14th! The paper golf balls will be on sale until the tournament on August 17th at all Sobey’s locations.

The Salisbury Lions Club will be having an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Saturday, July 15th from 7-10am at the Salisbury Lions Club (63 Peter St). The menu consists of pancakes, sausages, pure maple syrup, donuts, muffins, coffee, tea and juice. The cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 10 and free for pre-school. All proceeds are for community work.

The 2017 Special Olympics NB Provincial Games will be happening July 20-23. Most events will be at the University of Moncton. Athletes will be competing in Golf, Powerlifting, Track & Field, Swimming, Candlepin Bowling, Bocce, Soccer and Softball.
