More Visitors at New Brunswick Parks
New Brunswick’s national and provincial parks are seeing a big boost in the number of visitors this year. Parks Canada tells the Times and Transcript that visitor traffic at Fundy National Park is up 20-percent while Kouchibouguac reported a 24-percent increase in June and a 38-percent increase in July over the same time period last year. Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park and Parlee Beach have also seen higher numbers of tourists visiting. By the end of July, Hopewell had already welcomed 16-thousand more visitors than it had in all of 2015.
