Funding for UdeM

Cabinet Ministers were in town yesterday with a big cheque for the Universite de Moncton.

Federal and provincial governments are putting up $15 million for a $26 million infrastructure project. The university and its partners are contributing a further $10.7 million.

It will enable UdeM to renovate its science faculty and build the New Brunswick Centre for Precision Medicine near the  campus.  That will build on the university’s strength in biomedical research to provide space for the incubation of emerging companies.
