APEC on interprovincial trade

A report by the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council says differing standards and regulations across the region are putting businesses at a disadvantage compared to other provinces.  APEC’s David Chaundy says those barriers to interprovincial trade can increase costs, reduce efficiency, lower revenue, impede client service and deter investment. He says Atlantic Canada has more to gain from eliminating trade barriers than the rest of Canada.
