Two teens held in custody in attempted robbery
Two teens of three teens remain in custody for now after an attempted holdup on the weekend in Dieppe.
Two boys tried to get into the Irving Station on Amirault Street, according to the Times and Transcript. They flashed a weapon but couldn’t get in the locked doors and fled. RCMP tracked the suspects to a nearby residence.
Two of the teens are charged with armed robbery. One is being held in custody for a bail hearing in a couple of weeks. The second has been sent for a psychiatric evaluation. A third teen, charged with conspiracy, has been released on bail. All are under 18 and can’t be named.
