Sports Wall of Fame inductees

The City has announced this year’s inductees to the Moncton Sports Wall of Fame.

The late Sammy (Andrew) Samuel McManus and James (Jim) Baxter will be inducted in the athletes category. McManus was in the NHL wrapping up his career with the Bruins in 1937. Baxter is a golfer and one of the most successful playing professionals in Atlantic Canada winning three Atlantic PGA championships.

The builders are the late Ian Fowler, Jean Perron, Don Gaudet and Len Doucet. They will be inducted October 29th at the Capitol Theatre.
