The Wildcats split their opening Q-league games on the weekend, losing to the Islanders 6-2 last night.

In baseball….the Blue Jays beat the Yankees 4-3.  Red Sox downed Tampa Bay 3-2 in 10 innings…leaving Toronto five and a half games back but with a 1.5 game lead over the Orioles for the top wildcard spot.

Europe beat Sweden 3-2 in a semi-final at the World Cup of Hockey. So they’ll play Team Canada in the final tomorrow night.

Cowboys beat the Bears 31-17 in the NFL’s Sunday night game.
