Funding for Elmwood Drive improvements

The federal and provincial governments will each be providing up to $5 million to widen and improve a section of Elmwood Drive in Moncton.

The project involves widening approximately 2.2 kilometres of the roadway from two to four lanes between Cedarwood Avenue and Longfellow Drive. The ditch system will also be replaced with a storm sewer to improve drainage, and sidewalks will be built.
