Snake death trial opens

The jury has been selected for the criminal negligence trial of Jean-Claude Savoie in the deaths of two young brothers killed by a Rock Python three years ago…6 year old Connor Barthe and his 4 year old brother Noah.

Eight women, four men and two alternates were chosen after 2,000 people showed up for jury selection.

The judge will give them their instructions this morning then the first evidence will be presented.
