Politicking over Fundy Trail

Former ACOA Minister Rob Moore blames the provincial liberal government for the fact the Fundy Trail is not complete.

The Times and Transcript reports Moore says in the last two years the Gallant Government never applied for federal funding to pave provncial connector roads. He says he was never approached to discuss the tourism project at all. Moore was outraged at comments from provincial Transportation Minister Bill Fraser who said Ottawa didn’t do enough to develope the coastal drive through the park. Moore says the Gallant Government showed no interest in the Fundy Trail and chose to use gas tax dollars on other priorities.
