Morningstar trial

The first degree murder and arson trial of Devin Morningstar will continue today in a Moncton courtroom, according to the Times and Transcript. It’s expected the jurors will continue watching the recorded interrogation of Morningstar after his arrest about the killing of Baylie Wylie.

The jury had Friday off as the judge considered other matters.  Justice Jack Walsh ruled the media will not have access to trial exhibits for publication or broadcast….which is normally allowed. The judge said this is an exceptional case because there are two other people facing trial next fall.
