Morningstar murder trial

The first degree murder and arson trial of Devin Morningstar continues.

The Times and Transcript reports the jury heard a recording of Morningstar talking to police in a cruiser made shortly after his arrest December 20th…three days after Baylie Wylie was killed.  In it, Morningstar is heard telling the officer he wanted to help, that he was really scared. He said he was considering turning himself in before tey arrested him.

Testimony earlier in the day from Division Chief Charles Leblanc of the fire department was that three fires were deliberately set in the Sumac Street triplex.
