Trouble with the trash

The new three-bag waste system is now in effect and having problems.

The new trash sorting system began this week for the greater Moncton area and southeastern New Brunswick. However, some residents of Dieppe received information in the mail which gave the Moncton pickup schedule. Solid Waste Director Roland Leblanc told the Times and Transcript anyone who got the wrong information can call 877-1040 to get the right one.

The Berry Mills facility also got calls from people having trouble with the smartphone app which failed to recognize some addresses and would crash frequently.
