Thousands Take Part in Moncton Marathon

Over 3-thousand runners hit the streets of Moncton this morning for the Legs for Literacy Marathon as well as shorter distance events. The race has raised more than half a million dollars to support literacy in New Brunswick since it began 17 years ago. Many of the streets closed for the event reopened around 11am this morning but portions of Main Street will remain closed until roughly 3:30 this afternoon.
