Fredericton lawyer suspended

The New Brunswick Law Society has suspended a former Fredericton lawyer, according to the CBC.  Yassin Choukri is also a former deputy Justice Minister.

The Society says Choukri has abandoned his Fredericton law practise. Tens of thousands of dollars are missing from trust accounts for clients…and they don’t know where he is. Some reports say Choukri is in Mississauga, Ontario.
