Moncton wants private land at Magnetic Hill

The City of Moncton is planning to expropriate some land to provide better access to the Magnetic Hill Concert venue.

According to Times and Transcript, the city had been negotiating previously with the owner for the land on Gorge Road…but has now decided it’s essential as an emergency access rouyte to the concert site. It plans to expropriate the land and compensate the current owner.
