Mathew will missing Maritimes this weekend

Hurricane Matthew is pounding the Bahamas, as Haiti continues to dig out from the devastating storm.

Matthew has been blamed for at least 16 deaths across the Caribbean, including 10 in Haiti.

The predicted track has also changed. Other weather systems will block it from coming to the Maritimes on the long weekend and instead Mathew will remain off the Carolina Coast. The Canadian Hurricane Centre says Matthew is now unlikely to pose much of a threat to this region…however, it could change course again.
