Dolphins still stuck

A pod of dolphins are still stranded at Lameque Island.

A second attempt by the Marine Animal Response Society and DFO to herd them back out into open water yesterday failed. Response co-ordinator Andrew Reid told CBC right now the dolphins are in a deeper pool of water but to get to the open Gulf they would have to go through a long stretch of shallow water and they don’t like that. The rescuers will keep trying today.
