Flag memorial in Riverview

A memorial of 128 Canadian flags will grace Riverview for the next six weeks as a tribute to soldiers who lost their lives. The flags were raised during a ceremony on Saturday afternoon and are on display at the corner of Hillsborough and Runneymeade. The 128 flags represent the estimated 128-thousand Canadian soldiers who have died fighting since our country began sending troops into combat over a century ago.
