Investigation into Facebook posting of police interview

Concerns are being raised after what appears to be video of a private police interview were was posted on a Moncton based Facebook page.

The video appears to show an interview with local RCMP speaking to an unknown person being played on a computer monitor. In it, the person talking to police mentions a Shediac neighborhood and their fear that if someone goes to jail for the incident being discussed they could seek retribution.

Assistant deputy attorney general Luc Labonte told the Times and Transcript there could be criminal consequences for the person who posted the video.
