How to increase immigration to NB?

A New Brunswick M-P has introduced a motion in the House of Commons asking a federal committee to study how to retain and increase the number of immigrants in Atlantic Canada.

Fundy Royal MP Alaina Lockhart, says our region’s aging and shrinking population has been identified as the most pressing concern for the region’s future. The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration has been asked to report its findings to the Commons within a year.
