The World War II artillery gun monument at Victoria Park is being removed temporarily. The city says it’ll be gone about two weeks for refurbishment.
Meanwhile, a travelling exhibit on Canadian war history has stopped in Moncton. The exhibition, called From Vimy to Juno: Canada in France 1914-45, will be at Musee Acadien for three weeks. It’s been travelling across the country since April.
