Man charged with assaulting two women

A Moncton man is sitting behind bars charged with attacking two women over the last few months.

29 year old Randy Allan Allain was in court yesterday on the new charges. A report in the Times and Transcript says he’s currently serving time on other criminal matters and the Crown is objecting to his release on bail when he finishes his current sentence.

Allain will be back in court October 20th to enter pleas on the new charges which include sexual assault with a knife, forcible confinement and other counts.
