Legislature lit up

The legislature in Fredericton was lit up by gold lights last night to honour Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The gold lighting coincided with the arrival of cyclists taking part in the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride. Legislature Speaker Chris Collins was one of those riders. The lights will stay on for the rest of the month.

Officials say one in 285 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20.
