Teen charged in bank holdup
A Moncton teen has been charged in connection with a recent bank robbery.
The 17 year old boy, who can’t be named because of his age, is charged with attempting to steal money and having his face masked during the commission of an indictable offence. That’s in connection with the armed robbery at the Royal Bank at 1955 Mountain Road August 31.
36 year old Terry Babineau was arrested not long after the holdup and is facing robbery and other charges.
The teen was remanded in custody and is due back in court tomorrow.
