Recent child abuse damage case lauded

Lawyers are applauding a recent judgment for decades-old child abuse in New Brunswick. A 52 year old woman has been awarded $188,000 by Court of Bench.

A lawyer from London, Ontario, Rob Talach says New Brunswick was way behind many other provinces until the July ruling. The ceiling used to be $50,000 for such damage awards.
