The Canadian Progress Club of Greater Moncton will be having their 9th annual "Girls night out for Crossroads for Women Inc." on Saturday, May 6th at 8pm. It takes place at the Cocoa Room in Riverview and will feature the band Nine Mile River, shopping, dancing, pampering, cocktails and much more! The Abandoned Cat Rescue is holding a Diamond Dinner on Thursday, May 11th at Legends Restaurant at the Moncton Coliseum. Tickets are $50 and include a buffet dinner, silent auction, 50/50 draw, fashion show and a draw for a beautiful diamond ring! All proceeds will go to the spay and neuter program. The Royal Lepage National Garage Sale for Shelter will be happening Saturday, May 13th from 8am-2pm at 691 St. George Blvd. Donations are needed for this amazing event with all proceeds going to our local women's shelter helping women and children escape violence. Items can be dropped off at 691 St. George Blvd. or by calling Royal LePage at 857-2100 for arrangements.

Magnetic Hill School will be having a craft fair, BBQ, bottle drive and yard sale on Saturday, May 13th from 9-3 and BBQ is from 10-1. All proceeds will go towards their year end trip to Quebec City. You can also rent tables to sell your own items or you can donate it. Tables are $20 for a 6 ft and $30 for a 12 ft. Any yard sale donations would be appreciated as well. Come show your support!

4our Season's Market's is holding another FREE Admission, Free Parking fundraiser market on Saturday, May 13th from 10am-3pm in support of FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome). There will be a BBQ, raffle tickets and a Mother's Day prize valued at $200. It will be at the Moncton Lions Club, 55 Mark Ave. They are also accepting Vendors of all kinds and tables are $30. There will be a fundraiser car wash in support of the Dragon Boat Festival's team "Chloe's Guardian Angels" on Saturday, May 13th from 12-4pm at Wonder Tire and Auto in Riverview (405 Coverdale Rd). All proceeds will go to the Lions Sick Children's Fund as well as the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride. Chloe, a leukemia survivor will also be selling cupcakes and lemonade. Donations are welcome.
