The Moncton Crafter’s Fall Fair

The Moncton and Surrounding area Crafter’s Fall Fair hosted by Barb Miller will be on Saturday, September 10th, from 10am until 3pm at the Moncton Lion’s Club.  There will be over 60 vendors, 50/50 prizes, canteen, a food box present for donation, and all proceeds at the door goes to The Humanity Project.  Admission is $1; the Moncton Lion’s Club is located at 55 Mark Avenue.

Midlife Crisis Comedy Show

The Riverview Lions Club is hosting a fundraiser, “Midlife Crisis Comedy Show (Jokes for Jacob)” on Saturday, September 10th. Doors open at 7pm, and show starts at 8pm. All proceeds go to the Moncton Ronald McDonald Family Room. 701 Coverdale Rd.

Walk of Hope

September is Ovarian Cancer awareness month and the 2016 Ovarian Cancer Walk Of Hope takes place Sunday, September 11th at the Chocolate River Station.  New to this year’s event is a 5K fun run.  Registration begins at 8:30am with opening ceremonies at 9am.  This family-friendly event raises vital funds to provide support and raise awareness and fund much needed research in to prevention,  improve treatments and ultimately a cure.  For more info visit OvarianCanada.org.  Proudly sponsored by MAX 103.9

Fall fashion show

It will be held at the Central United Church, 150 Queen St., Moncton. All you can eat pancake breakfast

The Salisbury Lions Club will be having an all you can eat pancake breakfast on Saturday, September 17th from 7:00 to 10:00AM at the Salisbury Lions Club, 63 Peter St. in Salisbury. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 10, and free for pre- school children. All proceeds are for community work.

Car wash and BBQ fundraiser

There will be a car wash and BBQ fundraiser Saturday, September 17th from 10:00am-2:30pm at the Irving parking lot, 64 Champlain Dr., Dieppe for the Muddy River Rollers and Bearded Villains roller derby teams. Money raised will be used for the women to compete in Toronto and for Youth Impact’s transitional housing program for homeless and at-risk youth.
