The Shediac Legion, 386 Main Street, is proud to host the first annual "Robbie Burns Supper" in the Flight Deck Hall on Wednesday, January 25th. There will be a prime rib dinner, including neeps, tatties, haggis, full bar and entertainment. Cost is $30 per person and must be purchased by January 22nd. There will be a Paint Nite fundraiser for Chudumont Foundation on Thursday, January 26th at 7pm at Lakeside Golf & Country Club- 1896 Route 134, Lakeville Westmorland County. Tickets are $45 per person and $15 goes to charity and Medavie Blue Cross will match $15. One hundred percent of funds raised will be for Da Vinci Medical Equipment. There will be a pancake breakfast and bake sale on Saturday, January 28th at the Riverview Lion's Hall, 701 Coverdale Rd from 8-11am. Entertainment will be provided by Ivan and Vivian Hicks with the Sussex Avenue Fiddlers. Cost is $6 for adults, $20 for a family of 4 and children under 5 are free. All proceeds go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

The United ATV Club in Kent County is holding a fundraiser event called Fun Run on Saturday, January 28th. Registration will be from 12pm until 8pm at John's Camp in Notre Dame. All proceeds go to trail improvements and maintenance. See their Facebook page for more info.

The East Botsford Recreation Center ( 15 Trenholm Rd., Murray Corner NB) has planned an open house on Saturday, January 28th from 2-4pm with a storm date for the 29th. Get information on a number of new programs. There will be door prizes, give-a-ways and complimentary refreshments. Also an important initiative with the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation will be announced.

Greater Moncton Prostate Cancer Support Group
The regular monthly meeting of the Greater Moncton Prostate Cancer Support Group will be held on Wednesday, February 1st at 7pm at a new location- 91 Driscoll Crescent in Moncton ( the Occupational Concepts building).
