Dinner hosted by Trinity United Church
There will be a dinner consisting of ham, baked beans, scalloped potatoes, coffee, tea and desert on Saturday, September 23rd from 4:30-6:30pm, 379 Main St. in Shediac. Eat in or take-out. Friend Day at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 284 St. George St. in Sussex (behind the Kent store) will be taking place on Sunday, September 24th at 10:30am. The guest speaker will be The Million Dollar Man- Ted Dibiase (WWE). There will be a carnival outside with food, activities, games, prizes and much more! The is a FREE event and everyone is welcome!

The annual roast turkey supper will be held on Sunday, September 24th at the Apohaqui Recreation Centre, Jones Memorial Park Road in Sussex from 3:30-6:30pm. The menu will consist of turkey, pickles, rolls and pumpkin or apple pie for desert. Cost is $13 for Adults, $6 for Children ages 6-12 and FREE for Pre-School. There will also be a food and craft table.

The PC Children's Charity ATV Poker Run will be happening on Saturday, September 30th. There will be a BBQ, Prizes and 50/50. Registration and start will be at the Pine Glen Rec Centre, 1003 Pine Glen Rd. in Riverview. The run starts at 10am. Cost is $10 per poker hand, breakfast and BBQ by donation. The Canadian Army Reserve will be having an Open House on Saturday, September 30th from 9am-3pm. It will showcase the important work Reservists do for Canadians through interactive displays, activities and conversations. It will be part of the Army's overall initiative to recruit new members to the Reserves. The Armouries are located at 299 Park St. (Corner of St. George & Vaughn Harvey).
