Campground Tussle

A megacampground in Shediac is another step closer to construction.

A dispute between the Anglican Parish and an existing campground has been settled. That had to do with no competing campground be allowed on lands adjacant to the Parish lands.

That leaves the way open for construction to begin on what will be called Camping Shediac…but the fights aren’t over.

Opponents are planning an appeal of a town council decision extending a deadline for construction to begin.
