Moncton Fire Dept Open House

On Saturday, October 15, the Moncton Fire Department will be hosting its annual Open House event in recognition of Fire Prevention Week. The event will be held at the Hildegard Fire Station (99 Hildegard Dr.), and will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  There will be lots for families to check out during this event, and children will be especially interested in meeting Magic, the arson detection dog, or participating in the Junior Firefighter Challenge. Other emergency service providers will be on site, including the Canadian Red Cross, Ambulance NB, Codiac Regional RCMP, Canadian Blood Services and the Southeast Regional Service Commission.  A fundraiser BBQ has also been organized, with proceeds to benefit the Moncton Hospital Burn Unit and Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
