Canada doubled the U-S 4-2 at the World Cup of Hockey and advanced to the semi-finals. The U-S is out. Earlier Sweden shut down Finland 2-0.

The Fisher Cats held on for a 4-3 win over the Royals in their Senior Baseball final, cutting Fredericton’s lead to two games to one.  Game four goes this evening at Kiwanis Park.

The Blue Jays hammered the Mariners 10-2 in Seattle.  They’re four games behind the Red Sox who beat Baltimore 5-2, leaving the Orioles one game behind the Jays. Yankees downed the Rays 5-3.
