Thefts from cars in Shediac

Shediac RCMP say since late July, they have received more than 30 reports of thefts from vehicles, trailers, sheds, and construction sites in the area. The majority of the thefts were from unlocked vehicles and buildings.

The RCMP says residents and business owners can protect themselves from thieves by keeping vehicle windows closed and doors locked at all times; removing all valuables, including electronics, loose change and personal items from vehicles; and reporting suspicious people or activity to police.
