Open fire house
Open fire house
There were a couple of thousand people at the Hildegard Fire station for the Moncton Fire Department’s Open House Saturday.
The kids got to meet Magic the arson detection dog. They got to climb aboard the fire engines and see how things work. They also watched as fire fighters ripped apart a couple of cars with the jaws of life and other equipment.
Deputy Fire Chief Don McCabe topld the Times and Transcript the nice thing about that particular venue was that it brought out the neighbourhood with people waiting before the fire station opened at 10:00am.
