Two upcoming pipeline projects in New England could stop natural gas price spikes in this region. Those have been winter staples, but Gilles Volpé of Enbridge Gas New Brunswick told CBC the higher capacity to bring more American gas up should lower the cost. Spectra Energy’s Algonquin Incremental Market project is set to be ready next month, with Atlantic Bridge expected by next fall.
