New Sex Abuse Allegations Filed Against NB Catholic Church

Sex abuse charges continue to rock the Catholic Church in New Brunswick. Five new lawsuits alleging sexual abuse by catholic priests in the province have been filed over the past month. Both the CBC and Times and Tribune are reporting that two Shediac men and a Riverview man have filled lawsuits in Moncton alleging sexual abuse by priests dating back as far as the 1950’s. They include allegations against the former University of Moncton Chaplain. Two other lawsuits alleging sexual abuse by Catholic priests have also been filed in Edmundston.
