No jail for threatening woman

A woman who threatened to put a hit out on the two RCMP officers arresting her for impaired driving won’t be going to jail.

The Times and Transcript reports Erika Gideon-Marchand was given probation for resisting arrest and making death threats during her arrest in Elsipogtog last September. Judge Troy Sweet sentenced her to 18 months probation with anger management telling her she shouldn’t be threatening police or their famliies….they have a tough job to do.
