Less summer sea ice

Another sign of global warming. Scientists say Arctic sea ice this summer is the second lowest it’s been since they began monitoring by satellite.

The head of the National Snow and Ice Data Center called it a tremendous loss…about a million square miles less than  the average level between 1979 to 2000.
