The Blue Jays slide continues. They lost 8-1 to the Rays. Orioles moved ahead of Toronto in the standings and are one game behind the Red Sox after blanking Boston 1-0.  Dodgers shut down the Yankees 2-0.

In its last exhibition game before the World Cup of Hockey, Team Canada edged the Russians 3-2.
