Charity golf a hit

The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation set a record for money raised at its annual Hit It Fore Health golf tournament Wednesday…$77,000.  The Times and Transcript reports 180 golfers took part with area businesses providing prizes.

The money, along with other fundraisers, goes into the foundation’s annual campaign to buy equipment for the Moncton Hospital.  What will be purchased this year won’t announced until the official launch of the campaign next month.
