Police shooting prelim

The preliminary hearing is underway into the manslaughter case against two Bathurst police officers.

Constables Patrick Bulger and Mathieu Boudreau are charged with killing businessman Michel Vienneau as he got off a train at the Bathurst station in January.  There’s a publication ban on testimony at the prelim which will determine if there’s enough evidence to go to trial.
