Headstart funding

The Headstart program is getting $200,000 from the provincial government. It’s for the group’s High Scope Program which supports children’s learning and development before High School.

Executive Director Mary O’Donnell told the Times and Transcript it’s a significant amount of money but they will continue to seek more funding for on-going programs.

Moncton Headstart is also getting ready for next month with its school supplies campaign, donating hundreds of bags filled with school supplies to children in need.
