City hires downtown design consultant

The City of Moncton has hired a local urban design firm to help develop a plan to revitalize the downtown core.

Trace Planning and Design has been awarded the $90,000 project. It will hold public consultations over the next year and half hearing what citizens would like to see downtown. Then it will produce guidelines for city council on future development.
